Pots Case.
So, for the last few weeks that I have been at my desk, I have been working and making calls.... in an effort to solve this case.

I think that those pots left in a separate truck at night some time before the truck that was documented as having the pots in them. I think that the crates that held the "pots" in the truck that was set on fire was a complete cover up. Either the boxes were filled with bricks, ala Brick in the Box, or something heavy that wouldn't be questioned by the truckers.

So, I will continue to make calls to couriers around the city to see if there have been any late night trucks leaving the the location of the pots anytime around the time of the shipment of the hijacked truck. Maybe then we can find where the pots are.

We should hit up the shipping company, too.

You guys should check the loading docks at the museum for security cameras while you're at it, Goren.

I still think Felton Jr. is the one behind this.

Why check the museum? The pots never went anywhere near there.

That's what I was thinking too. Way to go, Wells. E-mail me if you get anything good, huh? I may be sitting on my ass at home badgeless, gunless, and watching endless Disney movie after Disney movie with a five-year-old but I'm still useful, I swear.

Voice mail for Det. Wells:

Yeah, uh, hey, this is Jose over at 5B7 Shipping. My dispatcher took your call today and got all panicky. ::deep sigh:: She's new. Anyway, she said you wanted to know about shipments September 26 or 27th? We had two big ones, like you wanted. One was all restaurant gear. Shootz up in Harlem needed a new stove and some tables. Took a whole truck. Other one was 15 large wooden crates. All fragile, according to the guy who shipped 'em. Hovered over them like they were babies. Name of.... ::rustling paper:: Felton? Hope one of those helps. Dispatch has my pager if you need more.
